Topsy Turvy Time Travel is a musical romp across world history: from ancient Egypt to the Viking Age, the Wild West, the birth of rock and roll, the Space Age, and beyond.
In 2012, Circus Smirkus celebrated its 25th year with an ambitious new show inspired by the idea of time travel. The story of a malfunctioning time machine, comic encounters between iconic characters from different eras of history, and fantastic displays of physical skill enchanted audiences from Maine to New York. The show's score drew inspiration from the sounds of many different eras of human history and provided a multi-faceted musical backdrop for the troupe's virtuosity under the big top.
